Revere (, locally ) is a city in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Located approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) Northeast of downtown Boston, Revere is the terminus point of the Boston MBTA's blue line, with three stations located within the city (Wonderland, Revere Beach, and Beachmont). The city directly borders Massachusetts Bay, and was the site of the Battle of Chelsea Creek. Revere Beach, a three mile (4.8 km) stretch of beach on the city's Eastern coast, is the oldest public beach in the United States.
